The visual and sound design are both so phenomenal, and the story is also extremely well done! It tells you just enough to get the point across and leaves it at that, letting you piece it together adds so much to the creepy-ness! This was such a cool game to play through, Also the comic book panels were superb, amazing job!
Great short-ish game, I played on Linux with no errors. Love the aesthetic, I would like to see a longer game covering some of the same ideas. The car was really well done, turning at low speeds is frustrating but otherwise I really liked the feel. In a longer game being able to manually shift gears (at least as an option) would be a cool addition. The sound design was awesome in general and deserves a shout-out.
It was made in Linux (Arch, btw)—well, like 75% of the time anyway.
And yeah… the car’s slow steering is definitely frustrating. I kinda got lazy/bored and wanted to work on other projects, so I overlooked it… my bad ):
Glad you liked the vibes and the sound design though! A longer version with manual shifting sounds pretty headache-y, but not out of the realm of possibility. Actually… it's a really interesting idea.
If I ever do something similar again or build on this, I might even throw in a simple combat system. something like The Long Dark, if you’ve played that. It was originally part of the plan, but I scratched it, worried the scope would be too ambitious for the time I had.
Thank you so much ! and I'll probably add an objective when you get there to make it clearer * I wanted it to be MUST IMMERSIVE in the final chapter (: *
Nice this was absolutely great game and the story was also really great I liked it very much and the music I liked them also just the though was happen to Liam that is my question anyway but this was really great game well done keep it up!
